Hello, I’m Morgan Watkins, the founder of Watkins Education Consulting. I graduated from Indiana University in 2017 with a degree in elementary education. For four years, I served as a K-6th grade reading intervention specialist in Bloomington, Indiana, where I received specialized training in the science of reading, particularly the Orton Gillingham approach. This research-based instructional approach is designed specifically for learners with dyslexia, yet it’s a systematic approach for all learners.

Throughout this period, I dedicated myself to pursuing my Master’s Degree. I successfully completed my studies at WGU, earning a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction in the summer of 2021.

Afterward, I relocated to Nashville, TN, where I taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Metro Nashville Public Schools. I’ve had the privilege of assisting numerous children, including English Language learners, in overcoming reading challenges, helping them thrive as confident, independent readers. Throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep passion for teaching young children how to read and empowering them to become lifelong learners.
